A New Study Suggests the Connection Between Oral Hygiene and Heart Health

Here at Atlanta Dental Solutions, we are always encouraging our patients to maintain a high standard of oral health, especially with the past studies linking oral health with heart health. A study was recently published to determine the relationship between daily oral hygiene and heart health. An 8 year study tracking oral hygiene habits and the likelihood of heart problems found that individuals who "rarely" or "never" brushed their teeth had a much higher chance of a heart problem - 70% higher in fact! We couldn’t wait for Katherine to join us, both for the wealth of experience she has brought to our team, and the warmth and kindness she has for our patients. Katherine is our office manager and treatment coordinator, and is a wonderful resource for questions or concerns about your treatment here. She will work with you every step of the way to help you achieve your oral health goals.

Dana is an homegrown Atlantan, and has a passion for dentistry that you can’t help but smile about! Dana is excited to join our family as Dr. Chung’s primary assistant, and you will always see her smiling at the end of your appointment – she is excited for you!
